Zoller+Fröhlich developed the first ATEX-approved, explosion-proof scanner, expanding the surveying capabilities of underground mining and industries where explosive atmospheres occur. Designed as a stand-alone device, the Z+F IMAGER® 5006EX guarantees independence and flexibility. No external devices are required to operate the scanner in the field, excluding the need for ignition sources in potentially explosive environments. In addition, an extended field of view enables complete documentation of an extensive scan area with relatively few scan positions.

Z+F IMAGER® 5016A

Combining compact, lightweight design with state-of-the-art 3D laser scanning survey technology, the Z+F IMAGER® 5016 lets users take detailed and precise scans. With a newly redeveloped design resulting in better scanning outcomes and a more efficient workflow, the 5016 expands the available application areas.

The Z+F PROFILER® 9020C is the world’s first mobile 2D laser scanner with integrated cameras. Its non-contact technology generates colored point clouds without external cameras, provides detailed documentation, and can be used remotely and in harsh environments or hard-to-reach areas.

The 9020C has four integrated cameras, each with 5 MPx, which cover the entire 360° scanning area at a distance of 40 cm. The recordings have high color fidelity and a high dynamic range. Significant differences in light conditions are compensated in such a way that the processing of the images afterward takes a short time or is completely eliminated. Shaded or overexposed areas can hardly be seen in colored 3D representations.

Z+F Scantra® Beyond Clouds is a software program developed to automatically register laser scan point clouds based on identical planes and points. Typical applications are as-built documentation, construction progress monitoring, or deformation measurements.
