FARO Stream App version 4.2.4

We are pleased to announce the latest updates to the FARO Orbis Firmware and FARO Stream App.

This release introduces several usability and reliability improvements, including: 

• Introduction of a new Orbis Scan Repair workflow, enabling recovery of usable scan data following unexpected interruptions.
• Resolution of an issue that could render the datalogger unusable due to file system corruption. The system now automatically detects and repairs these conditions.
• Automatic repair of damaged or incomplete datasets, commonly caused by interrupted captures or low battery situations.
• Correction of a defect that could result in corrupt datasets if the datalogger was powered off using the Power button during an active capture.

 Please note that Firmware version 4.4.2 requires Stream App version 4.2.4 (or higher) for full functionality.
